- Perform Network Administration on enterprise wide level for Castellini Group of Companies and its subsidiaries. Including backup of systems from VMware level to file server level using BackupExec and VMware snapshot when needed, manage user and system authentication and authorization in appropriate repositories as Active Directory, e-mail systems using Exchange and Office 365 hybrid environment.
- Monitor system and network health including capacity, efficiency and utilization using different tools such as taskmgr, perfmon, Nagios, VMWare vSphere client/web client to successfully solve any issues before user impact.
- Support Castellini Produce Company using Fascor Warehouse Management system.
- Support RWI Logistics and RWI Transportation T.M.W software.
- Perform software upgrade for VMware from 5.1 to 5.5 and patch, for 6 ESXi host at the Castellini datacenter so we can utilize the features which include upgrading our datastores to 10TB in size.
- Perform server upgrade, server patch, network patch, desktop upgrade, software upgrade and applications upgrades.
- Led project scope meetings with vendors to determine project goals and responsibilities.
- Performs technology needs analysis for onsite and remote support for multiple sites.
- Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources
- Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
- Manages small to medium sized projects according to agreed budgets and schedules.
- Assists with technology planning through ongoing research. Responsible for user and printer management on AS400 Innovative.
- Led on-call staff to support Castellini and its subsidiaries during off call hours for emergency support on a weekly rotation.
